Artwork and Customer Content

When you submit your child's artwork to My Child's Masterpiece for processing into a book:

• You retain full ownership and copyright of all submitted artwork

• You grant My Child's Masterpiece a limited license to scan, digitize, arrange, and print your artwork solely for the purpose of creating your ordered book(s)

• We may use anonymized examples of our work (without identifying information) for marketing purposes

• We will handle all submitted artwork with care and return original pieces when the "Artwork Return" service is selected

• My Child's Masterpiece is not liable for damage to original artwork during scanning or handling, though we take every precaution to preserve your child's creations

Hyperlinking to our Content

The following organizations may link to our Website without prior written approval:

• Government agencies

• Search engines

• News organizations

• Online directory distributors may link to our Website in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Websites of other listed businesses

• System-wide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Web site

These organizations may link to our home page, to publications, or to other Website information so long as the link: (a) is not in any way deceptive; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval of the linking party and its products and/or services; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party's site.

No use of My Child's Masterpiece's logo or other artwork will be allowed for linking absent a trademark license agreement.

Service Terms and Order Processing

Order Process

• All orders must be paid in full before processing begins

• We will send you a branded collection box with prepaid return label for your artwork

• Processing times are 2-3 weeks from receipt of artwork

• We reserve the right to refuse orders that contain inappropriate content

No Refund Policy & Quality Guarantee

• No Refunds: Due to the personalized and custom nature of each book created specifically for your family, all sales are final. Each book is individually designed, printed, and bound using your child's unique artwork and cannot be resold or returned.

• Quality Assurance: While we cannot offer refunds on custom products, we guarantee manufacturing quality. If your book has genuine printing defects, binding failures, or scanning errors caused during our production process, we will remake it once at no charge.

• Defect Claims: Customer must provide clear photo evidence of the specific defect within 7 days of delivery. This guarantee does not cover design preferences, color variations, shipping damage, customer handling issues, or dissatisfaction with artwork arrangement.

• Investigation: We reserve the right to investigate quality claims and verify manufacturing defects before authorizing replacements.

• Limit: Maximum one replacement per original order.

Shipping and Delivery

• All prices include standard shipping within South Africa

• We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services

• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery

Content Liability

We shall not be held responsible for any content that appears on your Website. You agree to protect and defend us against all claims that are raised on your Website. No link(s) should appear on any Website that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene, or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.
